Using Buttons At A Trade Show

A graphic of people going up to a booth at a trade show.

Trade shows have been around for quite some time. This past year we have seen many changes in how things are done in the trade show world, but they’re finally getting back to normal. Trade shows are good for sharing your companies products to the market that would be interesting in buying them. With this event being back to in-person using your promotional products it much simpler again. When you are picking your promotional products it’s good to think of them as an investment. Giving out something small and easy like a button can help attract customers to come back and buy what are you selling. Using buttons at a trade show helps with getting your name out to the public and leaving them with something helps them remember you.

Handing Out Buttons

80% of attendees believe audience engagement and free samples significantly help define their purchasing decision. This statement is good to keep in mind when preparing for a trade show. It’s safe to say that the majority of people enjoy getting free things, no matter what it is. When using buttons at trade shows, they are the perfect size to not overwhelm the recipients of the buttons. Part of the trade show culture is walking around all day to see the booths each person wants to see. If your promotional item is too big it can become annoying for the people to carry around all day. If the promotional product is too small then it could get lost in the pile of other promotional items from the other vendors.

Different Button Tactics

A tactic to compete with the other vendor’s promotional items is to make your standout as much as possible. Buttons have a space big enough to create a design or logo that will catch a person’s eye. Adding a little flair to your promotional product could do good things for your company when trying to get customers to remember you.

Now that we have moved back to in-person, it is important to make those face-to-face interactions count. A friendly smile, a good conversation starter, and being interactive with the audience are all good things to keep in mind when working a booth at a trade show. Besides using buttons as a promotional product to hand out, you can all have the members of the booth wear buttons. This can act as an eye-catcher and a conversation starter. “Ask me about” buttons are a great tactic to get someone walking by to talk to you. This type of button makes a person curious and want to learn more about what is said on the button.
