Buttons of All Shapes and Sizes

Buttons like people come in many different shapes and sizes. From round to square, or rectangle to oval, buttons are versatile! Here at Everyone Loves Buttons® we make 11 different round buttons, 3 squares (or 6 if you want to rotate your square and make it a diamond), 2 rectangles (or 4 if you’re counting horizontal and vertical), and 1 oval.

To start with our round sizes we can make: 7/8″, 1″, 1.25″, 1.5″, 1.75″, 2.25″, 2.5″, 3″, 3.5″, 4″, and finally 6″. The squares are: 1.5″ (standard or diamond), 2″ (standard or diamond), and 3″ (standard or diamond). Our rectangles are 2″x3″ (horizontal or vertical), 1.75″x2.75″ (horizontal or vertical).

Each size has their benefits and selling points, like the 7/8″-1.75″ buttons make great give away tokens for businesses when at trade-shows and events. Our hottest button sizes are the 2.25″ and the 3″ as they are great for advertising a business and big enough the read from afar. The 4″ and 6″ buttons are great for selling hot items and photographs because they have a large face. These are just some of the ways our customers use their buttons!

The back of the buttons can be just as important as the front of the buttons when it comes to their uses. We offer the standard pin back which is a metal pin that runs across the back of the pin and has a hook to catch the pin. We also have magnet backs so you don’t have to pin a button onto your clothing which comes in two types, round (for button sizes 1.5″ round and 1.75″ round) and clothing bar (for button sizes 2.25″, 2.5″, 3″, 3.5″, 4″, 2″ square, 3″ square, 2×3″ rectangle, 1.75×2.75″ rectangle, and last but not least the oval). If you are looking for flat magnet backs, you can check out our flat back buttons which come in sizes: 1″, 1.5″, 2.25″, 3″, 1.5″ square, 2″ square, 3″ square, 2×3″ rectangle, 1.75×2.75″ rectangle, and the oval. We also have bulldog clips which clip to your shirt on all of our buttons except our smaller sizes starting with 7/8″ through 1.5″. There is an option to put a mirror on the back of your 2.25″ buttons which is neat for carrying in purses or pockets. Finally we have Zipper Pulls®, which are one of our newer items and we’re so excited about them!

Zipper Pulls® come in two sizes 1″ and 1.25″ and are a button with a versa back® and clip attached to the back. It allows you to ‘Clip it ‘N Zip It’ as we like to say. Zipper Pulls® can be clipped onto to sweatshirts, purses, backpacks, key chains, lanyard, you name it.

Hey Everyone! Some exciting news for Everyone Loves Buttons and we wanted to share it with all of you! To follow along with our New Year’s Resolution on our customers receiving great quality products, we have decided that it is time to revamp our social media starting with Twitter. Our first step was to change our Twitter handle from @custombuttons97 to @LuvMyButtons. We felt that our Twitter handle should reflect how we feel about buttons and We Love Buttons! We also want to hear from you, our customer, on how we did and we would like to see pictures of your buttons in action. This led us to an idea for our very first Twitter campaign. It’s going to be launching soon so stay tuned on our blog, Facebook, and Twitter for the launch date. Alright now here’s our idea: When you order custom buttons from us we will put an insert in the box with our Twitter handle (@LuvMyButtons) and #LuvMyButtons. If you send us a tweet with a picture of your buttons and use the #LuvMyButtons, we will send you a coupon code to use for your next custom button purchase. That’s it! Send us a pic with the hashtag and tag us and you get to save money on your next purchase. Who doesn’t like to save money? One last piece of news, we are going to start blogging twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting next week. On Thursdays we would love to start sharing your button pictures and tweets once the campaign launches. Americans Prefer Products Made in the U.S.A.

In a survey conducted by the Consumer Reports, 78 percent of Americans prefer U.S.- made goods and would pay more for these goods, including cars, tracks and motorcycles, food, and large appliances. The people who responded to the survey cited patriotic reasons for buying American made goods. People want to keep manufacturing jobs at home, help the U.S. economy, keep America strong in the global economy, and buying made in America products made them feel more patriotic. More than 68 percent of all respondents indicated they’d buy American-made clothes and appliances even if those cost 10 percent more than imported versions; more than 25 percent said they’d pay at least an extra 20 percent. Price is one of the main drawbacks to buying U.S.-made products however. More than half of the respondents said they consider American made goods to be costly.

Posted on the website MadeInUSAForever.com, these are the top ten reasons to buy USA made products:

  1. Foreign labor standards allow unsafe conditions in many countries.
  2. Jobs shipped abroad almost never return.
  3. US manufacturing processes are much cleaner for the environment than many other countries.
  4. Many countries have no minimum wage restrictions, or the minimum wage is outrageously low.
  5. The growing lack of USA ability to manufacture many products is strategically unsound.
  6. The huge US trade deficit leads to massive, unsustainable borrowing from other countries.
  7. Foreign product safety standards are low.
  8. Lack of minimum wage, worker safety, or environmental pollution controls in many countries undermines the concept of ‘fair and free trade’.
  9. Factories and money are shifting to countries not friendly to the USA or democracy.
  10. As the US manufacturing ability fades, future generations of US citizens will be unable to find relevant jobs.

Recently announced presidential candidate Donald Trump also prefers American made products. He fears that China is taking all of our jobs in the U.S. China is able to manufacture products for pennies where as our costs are dollars. His theme is ‘Make America Great Again’ and he wants to start by bringing back real jobs into the United States like it used to be.
