The Phoenix Boys Choir has been a client of Everyone Loves Buttons for the past several years and we are actually working on their 2014 buttons and zipper pulls right now! The boys get a custom button which corresponds with how much they raised as part of the organization’s fundraising efforts, and are acknowledged during a special ceremony. Founded in 1947, the Phoenix Boys Choir has programs featuring training in voice, music theory, and performance for boys age 7 to 14. Currently, there are approximately 150 young boys and men participating. These are an amazing group of boys with heavenly voices. Everyone Loves Buttons CEO, Maura Statman, had the pleasure of meeting one of boys who was in a past ballet class with her daughter. The families are engaged in extensive fundraising throughout the year and the higher level choirs travel throughout Europe during the summer.  The Phoenix Boys Choir has even won a Grammy! The Choir won a 2000 Grammy Award for Best Choral Performance for its recording of Penderecki’s Credo with the Oregon Bach Festival Orchestra and Chorus conducted by Helmuth Rilling. The group is so in-demand they have their own booking agent and can be hired for performances. Please consider and help keep this amazing group going!

The Oral Cancer Foundation is a national public service, non-profit entity designed to reduce suffering and save lives through prevention, Everyone Loves Buttons Customer Spotlight – The Oral Cancer Foundationeducation, research, advocacy, and patient support activities. Approximately 42,000 people in the US will be newly diagnosed with oral cancer in 2013. While some think this is a rare cancer, mouth cancer will be diagnosed in about 100 new individuals each day in the US alone, and a person dies from oral cancer every hour of every day.

When found at early stages of development, oral cancers have an 80 to 90 % survival rate. Unfortunately, the majority of cases are found as late stage cancers. Late stage diagnosis is not occurring because most of these cancers are hard to diagnoses; it is because of a lack of public awareness coupled with the lack of a national program for opportunistic screenings.

The foundation supports numerous oral cancer related events each year, from free screening events and educational seminars, to walk/run public awareness events around the country.  Everyone Loves Buttons has created custom buttons for the Oral Cancer Foundation for the last 5 years, customizing unique buttons for their fundraising walks that are occurring around the country. See if the Oral Cancer Foundation is putting on walk/run in your community here.

ELB Customer Button Spotlight – NFL Arizona Cardinals

The NFL season is winding down and the Arizona Cardinals Football Team is thanking all their fans at the stadium support through out the season. All stadium personal will be wearing this Thank You Fans Button produced by Everyone Loves Buttons.  The NFL Arizona Cardinals are near and dear to our heart with us being located in Phoenix, Arizona and attending Cardinal games throughout the year and we want to thank them for their business.

The 2013 Arizona Cardinals season was the franchise’s 94th season in the National Football League, the 26th in Arizona and the first under head coach Bruce Arians. The team finished with a 10–6 record, which was the second time in 37 years that the team finished with at least 10 wins. The Cardinals doubled their win total from 2012, and were in playoff contention heading into the Week 17 regular season finale, but missed the playoffs for a fourth consecutive season.

Go Cardinals!
