Last minute order? Choose our Fast-Track Service to guarantee your expedited delivery date!

Everyone Loves Buttons has some of the fastest button-machine operators in the industry especially when you add it with our Fast-Track Service. Our standard production time for all orders is just five business days, but that does not mean that we can’t get your order done sooner. Depending on our production schedule, some orders may be completed sooner than five days.

But what if I NEED my buttons sooner than five days?

That’s no problem! We offer a variety of fast-track service options that will guarantee your delivery date. With us, there is no guessing and wondering when your order will arrive like with those other button companies. Even if you need your buttons by the following day, we can do up to 2,500 buttons the same day your order is placed and get them shipped to you that afternoon. Of course, in a circumstance like that, you would need to place the order by noon (Arizona Time) that day to give us enough time to produce an order of that quantity.

Can I save money by fast-tracking production as opposed to expediting shipping?

Yes. While it’s not always the case, often times, our affordable fast-track options can save you money on expedited shipping. For example, if you needed an order delivered to you in six business days and your ship-to address is three transit days away (via UPS Ground), rather than doing standard production with overnight shipping, you can do a 3-day fast track with UPS Ground to avoid the high cost of expedited shipping.

How can I ensure that I will get my order by my desired delivery date?

As I mentioned before, by choosing a fast-track service, you are guaranteeing your delivery date. To do this, you have a couple different options. You can proceed with your order checkout online at custombuttons.com and select your desired due date. At that point, our website will calculate your production time and shipping accordingly. You will be able to see what method it chooses for you prior to completing your checkout. Your second option is to call in and place your order. This is the best method for any same-day or 1-day fast-track orders because it will immediately notify our customer service staff that we need to expedite the order.

So whether you are planning a last-minute event or you got caught procrastinating (Don’t worry, we all do it), Everyone Loves Buttons can still produce high-quality, Made-in-USA buttons and get them to you whenever you need them.

Help Everyone Loves Buttons spread awareness about breast cancer this October!

October is upon us, which means it is time to amp up the spread of awareness for one of the deadliest diseases in the world, breast cancer. Breast Cancer Awareness Month provides people with the platform not only to inform individuals about the disease but also to celebrate the battles that were won and remember those who lost the fight.

According to breastcancer.org, not only is breast cancer the most frequently diagnosed cancer in the world, it is also the leading cause of cancer deaths among women worldwide. To put that into perspective, one case of breast cancer is diagnosed in a woman every two minutes in the United States alone, and somewhere in the world, one person dies every 60 seconds from breast cancer.

As a nationally certified woman-owned business, Everyone Loves Buttons would like to invite you to join the fight and help spread awareness about breast cancer. We are currently offering a 10% discount on any breast cancer awareness products ordered through our website in the month of October. Just use the promo code “BCA10” when checking out, and you can save more then just money… you can help save lives.

4 Design Tips for Your Buttons

When it comes to designing your button, it may seem pretty straightforward – you send us the artwork you want and we print it for production. Wrong. It is actually more complicated that that. Luckily our in house art department has provided us with a few tips for when it comes to your button design.

  1. Less is More

Graphics that have a ton of information or pictures are often distracting. When it comes to your design it is best to use the less is more rule. Think like the great brands can be instantly recognized by logos or slogans, like Nike, Adidas, Coca Cola, etc. They practice the less is more, with eye catching colors, and minimal designs.

  1. Let Your Design Breathe

While creating your button occurs in a 2-D space, your buttons are not. On paper it may look great to have the design going right up to the edge while looking at the image flat, buttons aren’t a completely flat surface. Especially when it comes to text, it’s best to have it closer to your design that the edge. It does give you a slightly smaller space to work with, but when the graphics wrap around the button your text will be legible.

  1. Avoid Button Borders

Our graphics are cut by a person, which means that they sometimes have bad cuts and are not perfect 100% of the time. When cutting a slight shift can occur and graphics with a border can appear off center no matter how small the shift. Borders to look great on other printed graphics, but can cause some troubles when producing your buttons. Our button makers are diligent with going through their graphics to ensure only the perfect cuts are being made, but sometimes a shifted graphic can slip through the cracks.

  1. Make Sure to Add Bleed

When it comes to your artwork, adding bleed will make the button look seamless. With artwork that doesn’t have a bleed (like the graphics with borders) it is definitely noticeable with shifting cuts. Our templates have lines that show when your button face will end and where the bleed will extend out.

If you need help with a button design or have any other questions, our art department is more than willing to help! We want to make sure that your buttons are exactly as you had envisioned them and it all starts with the graphics!

How We Do Things

Our Button Process

Ever wonder how our button process works? Today we are writing a step by step process on how we do things here at Everyone Loves Buttons!

To start, there are two ways you can go about ordering buttons, the first is through our website under the Order Now tab. There you can choose the size of your buttons, the quantity you need, upload artwork, and how fast you need them made (our standard production time is 5 days). Once you decide from those options you can add that order to your cart. If that’s all you need feel free to check out where you will choose your set up for artwork and shipping. Finally you can complete your order through our website; it’s fast and easy. If you have any problems or questions during your online ordering process give us a call and we are more than willing to help you through the process!

The second way to do an order with us if you are unsure about ordering online, or whether or not you actually want to order buttons, is by requesting a quote. There you can select the type of button, quantity, upload artwork, and tell us when you need them by. Once we receive the quote request we put together an estimate and email it back to you. If our awesome prices have you ready to order, you can fax us, email us, or call us with your billing information (we don’t actually charge your card until your buttons are ready to ship out).

After we receive an order whether it is online or through estimate approval, our art department gets to work making sure your artwork looks its very best. They work up a digital proof and email that to you for your approval. If you have any changes, NO WORRIES! We want you to be happy with your buttons and won’t begin production until the design is perfect. Once it’s perfect we print and cut your graphics to get them ready for production.

Production begins after art has been approved by one of our wonderful button makers. Whether it’s an order for 5 buttons or 10,000+ buttons we take pride in making sure all of our buttons produced are top quality. This means we go through each graphic to ensure a perfect cut, keep the manufacturing areas free from dust (can cause bumps in the buttons), and we make sure that the parts we use have no imperfections. When the order is finished being produce, our shipping department takes over.

The shipping department packs the order and acts as another line of defense in quality control. They go through the buttons to ensure that there aren’t any bad ones (although we typically make a few extras in case a few bad ones escape us…those pesky buttons). Our shipping department also makes sure that the buttons are snug in their box for the journey ahead by using paper or air bags so the buttons aren’t jostled around too much. We want them to be comfortable as they make their way to you. If you chose the quote request route, this is when you will be billed for your buttons.

After the buttons have been sent out we send you an invoice (if you went the quote request route) with the tracking information so you know when your buttons will reach you. If you ordered through our website the tracking information will show up when you login and check on your order.

All in all it’s a fairly simple process to go through and our customer service team is willing to help you every step of the way through it. So if you have any questions or are looking to follow up with your order do not hesitate to give us a call.

Are You Choosing the Right Button Backs?

You’ve finished designing your buttons but did you think about what the back of your will be? Most people choose the traditional pin-back style because that is what most people are familiar with, however there is more than just one way to wear a button.

The traditional pin back button can be pinned or fastened to a shirt (typically) using a safety pin style mechanism. The first design for a pin-back button came out in 1896 when Whitehead & Hoag sent in a patent that allowed buttons to be pinned to ones shirt lapels rather than sewn to the shirt or worn as a pendant. Pin-backs are quite sturdy and stay put where ever you pin them, the only downside is you get those pesky holes where the pin goes through.

225inch

One way to combat holes in your clothing made by the pins is to use a magnet on the back. This small, but powerful magnet is a great backing option for larger and heavier buttons that may even rip clothing if they were to be attached with a pin. Magnets are also a great choice if the buttons are going to be recycled between uses or between people. With multiple designs that are being switched out constantly so there aren’t dozens of holes being poked through your clothing.

Another way you can prevent the holes by the pins are bulldog clips. The clip is attached to the back of the button and is similar to those on ID badges. These clips can easily be attached to the lapel of your shirt or lanyard.

The downside to choosing a back that is not the standard pin back is the cost. The magnets and bulldog clips are a little more expensive, however it can save your shirt from becoming holy.

Love is in the Air

Can you guess which holiday has an estimated 150 million cards and gifts sent out and 448 million dollars spent on candy in the U.S?

You guessed it! The holiday of love, Valentine’s Day.

It is a day to celebrate romance and love between couples and friends. Valentine’s Day traditions include exchanging gifts, like chocolate or flowers dating back to both Christian and Ancient Roman times. We often see decorations with hearts, doves, Cupid with his bow and arrows, and everything is pink and red. Valentine’s Day is celebrated across the world in many countries other than the United States, like: Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, France, and Australia.

The holiday is believed to be named after Saint Valentine. The most famous legend behind Saint Valentine is that Valentine was imprisoned and he sent the first ‘valentine’ to a young girl who was rumored to be the jailer’s daughter. Before he died, it is alleged that he wrote to the girl and signed the letter, “From Your Valentine”. Another legend that surrounds Saint Valentine is that Valentine was a priest who preformed marriages for young lovers in secret after Emperor Claudius II banned all young men from marrying.

The oldest known valentine was from Charles, Duke of Orleans to his wife while he was imprisoned in the Tower of London in 1415; this in now apart of the manuscript collection in the British Library located in London. Valentines became more common in the United States after the early 1700’s.

In many schools, children hand out Valentine’s Day cards and candy to their classmates. They even are encouraged to decorate boxes for the cards to be put in. Some people will throw parties to celebrate Valentine’s Day or even Anti-Valentine’s Day parties for those who are celebrating being single.

Whether you are celebrating the day of love or celebrating being single, what better way to do it that with a custom button or Zipper Pull®?
