What if I can't get the online button design process to work?
No problem! We're gonna get you that button one way or another.
**We are happy to scan a photograph for you – and will return the original photograph with your button! You can feel safe sending your photos. While problems with lost/damaged photos are rare, regrettably, unfortunately circumstances do occasionally arise in the mail, so we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged photos.
What color and size text should I use?
The text size that works best will depend on how many letters you use and how you position the photo on the template. Keep in mind: colors on the computer will not be exactly the same as on the finished button. Colors tend to look lighter on the computer screen than they do when printed; therefore, depending on your photo, we recommend using a lighter color for your text.
What if I want text color other than those you have on the site?
Well, right now we only have the "12-color box of crayons". Now, my older sister has the 64-color box ... She gets everything! I've asked for a "big box" for Christmas, so hopefully our palette will expand in the future!
Can I speak to a human being to help me through the process?
Please try to email us first. You may also call 704.341.1954, but Please Be Patient; we don't have a robust customer service center yet, and our chimpanzee may answer the phone before I do!
Why should I give you my email address?
Simple, from time to time, we will have interesting news, great information, tips and valuable resources for YOU. We hope you will come back and help us create an on-line community of people who are making a difference. Remember, it's "not just about the button."
And if you tell us your event and date, we'll send you a reminder about six (6) weeks before so you can make your button!
It's about YOU sharing YOUR stories and photos with others – so go ahead, jump in ... and start a ripple in our HopePond. We promise not to "bug" you with dopey emails or sales pitches!
We absolutely respect your privacy and sanity and will, therefore, not share, sell, lose or otherwise fold, spindle or mutilate your information. And, yes, we provide an easy way for you to opt out.
What kind of payments do you accept?
Online, we accept Visa and Mastercard. For all mail-in orders, you may use a credit card or include a check made payable to Buttons of Hope.

What exactly is a "Button Stix"?
Our stix are a really cool, really fun way for you to display your button or make it a souvenir after the event. Call it your personal trophy! Kids love to add them to their bookshelf of memorablia!
We've had people put a button stix on their desk at work before or after the event - it's a great conversation starter that will lead to more donations!
We suggest buying two buttons - one for you and one for the person you are honoring! If that person happens to be in the hospital - wouldn't it be inspiring for them to have a button stix in their room!? Maybe put your picture on their button to encourage and cheer them!
If you are a team or group ask us about custom printing your message or logo on the base of the button stix!
